    The Way You "Are"

I love you the way you are.
Some people didn't like the way you look.
    I could see more,
Too bad they lost knowing a wonderful person like you.
Some did not like the house where you lived,
    It was a wonderful home
    Full of life and caring.
Some did not like the clothes you wore,
Oh, how petty can they be.
I saw so many who did not speak to you,
Oh what a shame you had a wonderful way with words.
I was lucky to hear you speak.
Some critized the way you did things,
I thought they were narrow minded.
They could not put themselves in your place!
    I looked at you,
And saw this wonderful person I wanted to know!
